This Privacy Policy explains how Prince Consulting Group Pty Ltd and its related entities (Prince Consulting, we, us, our) manage, collect, use, store and protect personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).  Prince Consulting takes privacy seriously and is committed to adhering to the Australian Privacy Act and protecting individuals’ personal information.

Prince Consulting provides calculators, enterprise/SaaS tools, and related services. This Privacy Policy includes obligations applicable to enterprise customers and Authorised Users.

  1. What Information We Collect

    1.1 Calculator inputs
    We do not collect or store any personal information entered into our calculators. Calculator inputs are processed in Prince Consulting Technology’s secure Microsoft Azure environment . In most cases, you can use our calculators without providing any personally identifiable information.

    1.2 Information you choose to provide
    We may collect personal information when you:

    • contact us
    • subscribe, register an account or access SaaS features
    • are nominated as an Authorised User by an enterprise customer
    • request support or training
    • participate in demos, surveys or feedback sessions

    This may include your name and contact details, business details, role, email address, login credentials (if applicable).

    Enterprise features may also record audit logs that include the actions of Authorised Users (such as login time, feature usage, activity or account changes). These logs are used only for security, support and compliance purposes. Billing or payment information is processed securely by third-party payment providers.  Prince Consulting does not store full payment card details.

    1.3 Website and analytics data
    We may use Google Analytics or similar tools to understand how visitors use our site. This includes information such as your IP address, browser type, device, pages visited, and time spent on the site. This data is aggregated and where available, we enable IP anonymisation features within analytics tools.

    1.4 Information provided by enterprise customers
    If you are an Authorised User under an enterprise/SaaS customer agreement, your employer or the contracting organisation may provide us with your name, business email, role or access permissions.  We treat this information as personal information under the Privacy Act.  Prince Consulting does not commercialise personal information and does not use personal information for unrelated purposes.

    1.5. Anonymity and Pseudonymity (APP 2)
    Where lawful and practicable, you may interact with us anonymously (for example, browsing our calculators without providing contact details). However, anonymity may not be possible for enterprise accounts, billing, onboarding or support functions.

  2. Cookies
    We may use cookies to enhance your browsing experience, analyse website traffic, and personalise content. You can choose to accept or decline cookies in your browser settings. If you disable cookies, some parts of the website may not function as intended.
  3. How We Use the Information
    We use personal information only as permitted by the APPs and as reasonably necessary to:
    • provide our calculators, website and SaaS services
    • administer enterprise customer accounts
    • authenticate Authorised Users
    • provide support, maintenance and service improvements
    • manage subscriptions and billing
    • respond to enquiries
    • analyse usage trends (in de-identified form)
    • comply with legal obligations

    We do not:

    • sell personal information
    • use personal information for direct marketing without consent
    • commercialise calculator input data (as we do not receive it).
  4. Data Security and Retention
    We take reasonable steps to protect personal information we hold from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure (APP 11).  These measures may include access controls, encryption, secure storage arrangements, monitoring and contractual confidentiality obligations. Calculator inputs are never stored or transmitted. We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide our services or to comply with legal obligations. When personal information is no longer required, we will take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it. Some information may continue to exist in routine backups for a limited period before being overwritten.
  5. Disclosure to Third Parties and Overseas Recipients
    We may disclose personal information to service providers who assist us in operating the website or analytics platform (e.g., hosting providers, payment processors, IT support and security providers, other service partners assisting in the delivery of the site or SaaS services, Google Analytics). These providers may be located overseas, including in the United States and Europe. Overseas recipients may not be subject to privacy laws that provide the same protections as the Australian Privacy Principles. We will not disclose personal information overseas unless it is necessary for the services we provide or we are otherwise permitted by law.  By using our services, you consent to such disclosures where they are required to provide the service.Where possible, information disclosed is de-identified or aggregated. Prince Consulting does not disclose personal information for unrelated third-party uses.
  6. Third-Party Services
    Our website may contain links to third-party websites (for example, government resources or other calculators).  We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those external parties.  Please refer to their respective privacy policies when using external links.
  7. Access and Corrections
    As we don’t collect or store personal information from our calculators, we generally don’t hold any data that would require correction or access under the Privacy Act. However, if you contact us and provide any personal details (e.g. via email), you have the right to request access to or correction of that information.  Requests can be made using the contact details below.  We will respond to requests for access within a reasonable period and in accordance with the APPs.  In some circumstances permitted by the Privacy Act, we may refuse access (for example, where providing access would unreasonably impact the privacy of others or would be unlawful).  If we refuse access, we will provide written reasons.
  8. Changes to This Policy
    We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this website with the effective date at the top.
